Since its founding in 2005, Wilton Re has grown organically serving the Traditional Life reinsurance market and through acquisitions of closed blocks. The company had consolidated GAAP equity of approximately $1.5 billion as of December 31, 2010 and a 2011 financial strength rating from A.M. Best of "A" (Excellent) with a stable outlook.
