Wilton Re Announces Executive Appointments
Norwalk, CT, July 26, 2021—The Board of Directors of Wilton Re Ltd. (Wilton Re), a leading provider of in-force and reinsurance solutions in the North American life insurance industry, today announced that Mike Fleitz, formerly CEO, Wilton Re U.S., and Dmitri Ponomarev, formerly Deputy CEO, Wilton Re U.S., have been appointed Co-Chief Executive Officers (Co-CEOs), succeeding Chris Stroup, who has departed as Chairman and CEO. The Board of Directors has elected Sam Blaichman – current Wilton Re board member and Managing Director at CPP Investments – as its Chairperson. Mike Fleitz will also join the Board. These appointments are effective immediately.
